Tomas Del Balso (dd/mm/yyyy)
Tomas Del Balso is a recent alumni of OCAD and works mainly out of Toronto. Del Balso works a vigorous practice within multiple mediums and approaches. Drawing is fundamental as a tool for researching and creating. His final thesis dealt with the issues of post-modern living using art as a means to encourage personal education of intuition and criticism. Currently the work being produced by Tomas deals with the potential of an instrument or tool such as a guitar or a pen. He is an artist in transit travelling to different Canadian and American cities to perform, participate and observe art and performance. This contributes to a personal diary aesthetic in his drawings.
